Expungement Law Update: Individuals seeking to expunge a criminal case not included in a previous expungement order because the prior charge was not eligible for expungement at the time of the original petition cannot circumvent Indiana’s statutory “one-time expungement” limitation by re-opening the original case and amending the prior expungement petition.
